The Effect of Psychodrama on Post-Traumatic Stress and Interpersonal Relationship of Sexually Abused Children and Adolescents

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of psychodrama on post-traumatic stress and interpersonal relationship for sexually abused children and adolescents. The subjects in this study were six female victims(children & adolescents) staying at the shelter against sexual violence and the data of this study were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test as non-parametric statistical method after conducting the survey from April 6, 2014 to Jun 15, 2014 with ten sessions in total. As a result of study, post- traumatic stress showed a statistically significant decrease and interpersonal relationship had a statistically significant increase. Therefore, this study demonstrated that psychodrama was useful in reducing post-traumatic stress by perception of the problem through expression of internal emotions and voluntary action in regards to post-traumatic incidents for the victims of sexual violence and further improving interpersonal relationship as well.
